At Whitehouse Baptist Church, our mission is simple:

“Being beacons for Jesus and making Him known.”

This shapes everything we do – from how we worship together on Sundays to how we serve and support people throughout the week.

What This Means

We want our lives, both individually and as a church family, to reflect the light of Jesus in the community around us. That means living out our faith in everyday life, showing kindness and compassion, and creating a place where people feel genuinely welcomed and valued.

We also believe the message of Jesus is good news for everyone. We aim to share that message clearly, through Bible teaching, through relationships, and through the way we live.

Living It Out

Our mission is not just something we say – it is something we try to put into practice.

That includes things like community coffee mornings, shared meals, working with local schools and groups, children’s activities, and supporting those who need help. Some people first connect with us through these during the week, and then choose to join us on Sundays as well.

Everything we do is rooted in a simple aim: to serve others and to point people towards the hope found in Jesus.

We are committed to being a welcoming, family-friendly Christian church in Ipswich, open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you are exploring faith, new to the area, or looking for a church to belong to, you are always welcome.

Come and join us as we seek to be beacons for Jesus and make Him known in Ipswich.
