Whitehouse Baptist Church is a welcoming, family-friendly church in Ipswich, serving the Whitehouse community on the north-west edge of the town for over 60 years. As a local Baptist church in Ipswich, we are a small but active fellowship of around 40 members, committed to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and supporting our local community.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple:
“Being beacons for Jesus and making Him known.”
We seek to live this out through worship, teaching from the Bible, and building meaningful relationships with people across the Whitehouse area and wider Ipswich.
Community and Outreach
We are passionate about serving our local community in Ipswich and creating opportunities for people to connect.
Throughout the week, we run and support a range of activities, including:
- Weekly coffee mornings
- A popular monthly community lunch, including visits to local sheltered housing
- Partnerships with local schools through initiatives such as Open the Book
- Boys’ Brigade
- A stay-and-play group is hosted in our building
- Support for the Ipswich Family & Baby Bank through seasonal appeals
We are encouraged to see people from the local community becoming part of church life.
What We Believe
At the heart of our church is the Bible. We believe it is God’s Word and is relevant for everyday life.
We believe:
- Jesus Christ makes it possible for us to know God personally
- Forgiveness and new life are available through Him
- The Holy Spirit helps people grow in faith and live for God
As a Baptist church, we are committed to clear Bible teaching and applying it to everyday life.
You Are Welcome
